SpaceX
Space Exploration Technologies Corp., known as SpaceX, is an American aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company headquartered in Hawthorne, California. It was founded in 2002 by entrepreneur Elon Musk with the goal of reducing space transportation costs and enabling the colonization of Mars. SpaceX operates from many pads, on the East Coast of the US they operate from SLC-40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and historic LC-39A at Kennedy Space Center. They also operate from SLC-4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, usually for polar launches. Another launch site is being developed at Boca Chica, Texas.
Good luck folks on this QT mission.
Will this be an RTLS?
Keep checking back the information will be posted on this page when it is available.

what would be a good location to watch this launch
Click on the watch in person button at the top of the page
Lompoc, CA at the Beach! Might be some fog though early in AM
Does anyone know where the 12:18 launch time came from? Saw it on NextSpaceflight first and was wondering where the previous 11:07 time came from as well.
The launch dates are determined by the mission.
SLC 4E for launch and 4W for booster landing…still targeting 1213 launch.
Still worth the wait folks for this launch.
Will the beach by the Lompoc train station be open. I hear they often close areas too close to launch site for safety reasons I’m sure.
It’s pretty close to train station I’ve watched slc six launches from there but slc four is close by two or three miles ?
It was awesome. Best viewing I have had so far. Not a cloud in the sky!!
Thanks for sharing!
Once again great web cam coverage and 1st stage landing event , keep them coming SpaceX.
