NASA, SpaceX shooting for Saturday launch of Crew-7 to ISS

NASA is preparing to launch its next astronaut rotation, Crew-7, to the International Space Station (ISS) this week at a yet-to-be-announced time. The four astronauts will launch from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket in the Dragon spacecraft C210-3 Endurance. Teams are targeting a liftoff at 3:27 AM EDT (07:27 UTC) on Friday, Aug. 25, after the first attempt is stood down from the launch for issues relating to Dragon and the ISS, both of which are expected to be cleared.
