Atlas F/OIS (Convair)
The Atlas F/OIS is a non-reusable, inactive launch vehicle manufactured by Convair (established in 1943). It undertook its inaugural launch on 02/24/1979.
The Atlas E/F (or SB-1A) was an American expendable launch system and sounding rocket built using parts of decommissioned SM-65 Atlas missiles. It was a member of the Atlas family of rockets.

Manufacturer
Convair, previously Consolidated Vultee, was an American aircraft manufacturing company that later expanded into rockets and spacecraft. The company was formed in 1943 by the merger of Consolidated Aircraft and Vultee Aircraft. In 1953 it was purchased by General Dynamics, and operated as their Convair Division for most of its corporate history.
