The satellite, also known as SES-24, will continue the company’s presence in what SES calls its “prime orbital slot and TV neighborhood” in geostationary Earth orbit. Liftoff from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is set for 5:35 p.m. EDT (2135 UTC).
