Europe’s new Ariane 6 rocket powers into space

Europe’s new heavy-lift rocket, Ariane 6, made its inaugural flight from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana at 16:00 local time on 9 July (20:00 BST, 21:00 CEST).
