Iranian Space Agency launch of a Simorgh Rocket

Launch Status

Iranian Space Agency was scheduled to launch a Simorgh rocket as part of the Zafar-1 mission. The launch window for the Earth Science mission was on Sun, Feb 9th, 2020, 10:45 AM EST from Imam Khomeini Spaceport. The status of the launch was Failed. Don’t miss this exciting rocket launch!



Zafar-1 is a small Earth observation satellite with reported ground resolution of 22.5 m. This is also a third attempt for Simorgh rocket to conduct a successful launch.
